Antonio Ghio



  • Graduated as a lawyer from the University of Malta (2001)
  • LLM with Distinction in Information Technology and Communications Law from the University of Strathclyde (2001)


He has been practicing as a lawyer for the past 11 years handling exclusively technology related matters including intellectual property, internet security, data protection and computer contracting amongst others. Ghio is a partner at Fenech & Fenech Advocates and heads its ICT Law Department.

He also lectures ICT Law and Cyber Crime at the University of Malta and has been a member of the board of the Malta Communications Authority for the past four years. Ghio is a member of the Chamber of Advocates of Malta, the International Bar Association as well as the International Law Association.
